Martin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Beliade. Prior to establishing Beliade in 2015, Martin was a Partner at Relativity Media where he oversaw endorsements, licensing and business development. Previously, he was an Executive at Creative Artists Agency (CAA) where he co-founded CAA’s Consumer Brand Group managing licensing for top consumer brands and CAA celebrity clients. Martin began his career in investment banking at Ladenburg Thalmann and later became a Partner of several SPACs, collectively managing over $1 billion in institutional capital. Martin studied at George Mason University and Western Michigan University.
Whitney Williams
Partner, Chief Financial Officer
Whitney is a Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Beliade. She brings more than a decade of accounting, finance and operations experience from both a private and public company vantage point. Prior to Beliade, Whitney was with Lendlease in Nashville working to establish the U.S. master planned communities’ business. Prior to Lendlease, Whitney was the Real Estate Tax Advisor for Och Ziff’s $3 billion real estate platform as well as advising their energy and credit businesses. Prior to Och Ziff, Whitney worked at Tishman Speyer in the Tax Transaction Group in New York City. Whitney graduated from the University of Tennessee with a B.S. & MAcc in Accounting.
Bill Schultz
Partner
Bill is a Partner at Beliade. He brings to the firm a decade of institutional investing experience and deep domain knowledge of the retail and consumer industry. Prior to joining the firm, Bill was VP of Global Investment Research at Goldman Sachs where he spearheaded financial research of the US Branded Apparel and Specialty Retail industry. Before joining Goldman’s Consumer research team, Bill spent nearly five years on Goldman’s International Equity Sales team. Most recently, Bill was the Head of Finance for WeWork’s largest global territory, the Tristate. Bill received his B.S. in Finance at Pennsylvania State University.
